Who I Am - Name/Identity

Hannah Is My Name by Belle Yang. Hannah’s family has made the journey from Taiwan because they want to make America their home. She takes a new name, starts a new school, learns a new language, and adjusts to a new way of life. They all wait and hope for the arrival of the green cards that will assure they are finally home to stay.

I am Jazz by Jessica Herthel. Jazz knew that she had a girl's brain in a boy's body, loved pink and dressing up as a mermaid and didn't feel like herself in boys' clothing. Her family took her to a doctor who said that Jazz was transgender and that she was born this way.
