Where I Live - School

Save Me a Seat by Sarah Weeks. Joe and Ravi, might be from very different places, but they're both stuck in school. Ravi's family just moved to America from India, and he's finding it pretty hard to figure out where he fits in. Joe and Ravi don't think they have anything in common, but soon enough they have a common enemy (the biggest bully in their class).

First Day in Grapes by L. King PĂ©rez. Chico and his family move up and down the state of California picking fruits and vegetables. And every September Chico starts at a new school. Children pick on him because he is new or because he speaks Spanish. Chico's first day in third grade turns out to be different when his teacher and classmates recognize his excellent math skills. He may even get to go to the math fair.
