Japan

Ichiyō Higuchi (May 2, 1872 – November 23, 1896) was the pen name of Japanese author Natsu also known as Natsuko Higuchi. Although she died young, at 24, she is still regarded as a premier Japanese writer and her work is revered in Japan because of her use of classical Japanese language. She is featured on the 5000-yen note.

Kyrgyzstan

Bübüsara Beyşenalieva (September 15, 1926 – May 11, 1973), known simply as Bübüsara in her native Kyrgyzstan, was the first great Kyrgyz ballerina. She became the prima ballerina of the Kyrgyz ballet in 1944.  Bübüsara appears on the Kyrgyz 5-som note.

Netherlands

Queen Wilhelmina Helena Pauline Maria (August 31, 1880 –November 28, 1962) of the Netherlands, reigned from 1890 until her abdication in 1948. She ruled for nearly 58 years, longer than any other Dutch monarch. She is featured on the 1-gulden note of the Netherlands.

New Zealand

Kate Sheppard (March 10, 1847- July 13, 1934) was a suffragette and played an important role in making New Zealand the first large country in the world to grant women the right to vote. She is shown on the 10-dollar bill in New Zealand.
