South Korea

Shin Saimdang (October 29, 1504 – May 17, 1551) was a Korean artist, writer, calligraphist, and poet. Inseon is believed to be her real name Saimdang was one of her three pen names, Inimdang and Imsajae were her two other names. She is the first woman on a South Korean banknote and is on the 50,000-won note in South Korea.

Tunisia

Dido was, according to ancient Greek and Roman sources, the founder and first queen of Carthage (in modern-day Tunisia). She is primarily known from the account given by the Roman poet Virgil in his epic, Aeneid. In some sources she is also known as Elissa. She is on the 10-dinar note in Tunisia.

United States of America

Martha Washington (June 2, 1731- May 22, 1802) was the first, First Lady of the United States of America She is the only woman in American history to be depicted on a United States banknote. Washington’s portrait was on the 1-dollar Silver Certificate in 1886 and 1991.

Ukraine

Lesya Ukrainka born Larysa Petrivna Kosach-Kvitka, (February 25, 1871 – August 1, 1913) she is one of Ukrainian literature’s foremost writers, best known for her poems and plays. She was also an active political, civil, and feminist activist. She is on the Ukrainian 200-hryvnia note.
